# Shadow Council

Shape SHADOWFRAG before launch. Players ready to contribute to balance, maps, servers, content or regional events receive priority when invite codes are released.

## Balance Council

Experienced players put proposed changes through real matches and help determine the direction of SHADOWFRAG.

-   Playtest changes to weapons, movement and match rules.
-   Discuss balance with the development team.
-   Bring evidence from matches and decide what should change with the team.

## Map Makers

Build arenas in [Map Studio](https://shadowfrag.com/blog/inside-map-studio/), SHADOWFRAG’s map editor. **The strongest community maps will be considered for the game’s built-in launch lineup.**

-   Create maps around the game’s movement, shooting and objectives.
-   Playtest layouts and refine routes, sightlines and map flow.
-   Work with the team to prepare the strongest maps for the launch lineup.

## Server Moderators

Administer SHADOWFRAG’s game servers, keep matches fair and set the map rotation.

-   Watch for foul play and review player reports.
-   Handle day-to-day server administration.
-   Manage map rotations, with access to the server’s rotation controls.

## Content & Clip Team

Show players what SHADOWFRAG can do through original clips, guides and videos.

-   Capture match highlights, movement runs and memorable moments.
-   Make clips, guides or videos that show how the game plays.
-   Publish and share your work with players discovering the game.

## Community Shoguns

**One or two [Community Shoguns](https://shadowfrag.com/glossary/#term-community-shogun) per region** lead local events and represent their ninjas in conversations with the development team.

-   Run events for your region.
-   Collect feedback from local players.
-   Serve as a liaison between your local ninjas and the development team.

**All supporting ninjas will be credited on the website and in-game for their efforts.**

Anyone can [request an invite code](https://shadowfrag.com/newsletter/). Confirm your email to join the invitation list and receive development updates. Codes will be issued in a future round; requesting one does not guarantee access.

For Council priority, [introduce yourself on Discord](https://discord.gg/EHj7rZDNj). Tell us which roles interest you, the experience you bring, and your region and time zone. Include links to maps, clips or other relevant work if you have them. The team reviews Council introductions and invitation priority personally.
